Dan Holiday

My father bought a Kodak Brownie camera for me when I was 5 years old, and I have been taking pictures since that day. My travels are extensive and I have images from more places than I remember seeing. I now live on a mountain top in the southern Black Hills and am almost daily adding to that body of work by simply walking out on my back porch. I feel blessed with almost every sunset.

Landscape photography is my favorite pursuit, using sweeping views of different types of terrain that capture both the raw and refined grandness of nature. Wildlife and images that provide insight to human nature are also featured in my work.
